Harry really had something to prove here and mostly he does, but what gets me is how that warm bedroom-pop feeling never tips into lazy. 'As It Was' sounds effortless and effortless in pop is actually the hardest trick in the book. I just wish two or three of the back-half tracks had that same urgency, because when he locks in he genuinely locks in.
