"You've been through the desert on a horse with no name" is such a strange opening because the horse having no name feels like the most important detail and you never find out why. Bunnell leaves that hole open the whole song and the not-knowing is what gives it weight. Prine would have respected that move.

Okay the lyrics are basically nothing but Tom DeLonge sounds so genuinely happy singing them that I don't care.

The title track lyric is just "let's stay together" over and over but somehow it hits like a complete argument for why love is worth it.

Not his deepest lyric but he sells every syllable so hard it barely matters.
